Louis York, the dynamic duo who is also known as the multi-Grammy nominated production and songwriting team of Chuck Harmony and Claude Kelly, are excited to release their newest EP Masterpiece Theater – ACT II today! Released independently on their Weirdo Workshop label (Red Distribution), the team has yet again unleashed their creative juices to propel this project to another level taking listeners on a journey through the world of Pop, R&B, Rock, Gospel and more. "Much like ‘Masterpiece Theater Act I,’ Claude and I summoned our vast musical knowledge and understanding of several different genres of music to create this unique body of work. We drew influences from Chicago house music, rock, R&B, jazz, gospel, and even electronic music to carefully craft what we consider Louis York's best work to date,” states the Chuck Harmony. “We also stayed true to our fearlessness in our song concepts, tackling subjects that are social and political in nature as well as subjects that are inspirational in nature. Overall, this EP is about us continuing to reintroduce ourselves as artists who are creatively fearless, socially responsible, and intellectually capable of processing this wacky world that we live in and turning into beautiful music."
Known for creating hits for chart topping artists like Celine Dion, Janet Jackson, Rihanna, Bruno Mars, Britney Spears, Fantasia, Jazmine Sullivan and more, Claude and Chuck came from behind the scenes to release their debut EP Masterpiece Theater: Act I (CLICK HERE) last year, which was featured in Billboard, Los Angeles Times, BET and Fader among others.
